Questions Parents Ask

Is the scan real?
No. Nothing is scanned or measured. The videos are pre-made cartoon animations that play when you drop a food into the machine. Your camera is never used and your child's body is never imaged.
Is it too scary for young children?
The worm is a cartoon, not a realistic parasite, and the tone is silly rather than gross. Most parents use it with kids around 4 to 10. If your child takes things literally or worries easily, watch a scan yourself first and tell them up front that it is pretend.
Should I tell my child it is fake?
Most parents let the surprise land, then explain it is a game once the laughing starts. Ending on the truth keeps it playful and avoids real worry about worms.
What device do I need?
A laptop or desktop works best — the lab is built for a mouse, with left-click to rewind and right-click to pause. A tablet in landscape also works for watching.
What does it cost?
Your first scan is free. Lifetime access to every scan video is a one-time $8.99 payment — no subscription. A custom video made to your request is $15.00.
What is a custom video request?
You describe the food, habit, or scenario you want and we produce a scan video for it, delivered within 24 hours by email. It is a one-off $15.00 order from inside the lab.
Do I need an account?
No account or password. Access is tied to the email you use at checkout, so you can unlock the lab again on another device with that email.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — see the refund policy for the full terms.
My child actually has stomach pain. Can this help?
No. This is entertainment and cannot tell you anything about your child's health. Please speak to a doctor.
